Built in the backyard of the main street house, this structure was designed with entertaining in mind. The program includes a guest suite, 2 changing rooms, an air-conditioned pool side-room and a large covered exterior space. The shape of the building was largely determined by the site conditions including 2 storm sewer easements and the rear driveway to the back entrance. The goal was to create a feeling of separateness from the main structure while still being convenient.
